iKaraoke - Fun For You (Not Your Neighbours)

Just when you think that they've made every possible accessory out there for the iPod, here comes yet another - The iKaraoke.

This device connects to any iPod with the standard dock connector and can be connected to a sound system via its in-line cable. The microphone has built-in controls so that you can play, stop and select tracks without having to touch your precious music player. Once hooked up, iKaraoke sends music from your iPod to your stereo minus the lead vocals so that you can croon your way into the hearts of your fussy karaoke-hating neighbours.

Don't reach for that credit card yet. The page on Griffin Technology's website says that it will be available 'Winter 2006'... just in time for those Christmas carols.

More on this can be found here.

New iPods - iLike

I'll admit openly and unabashedly that I am absolutely in love with the new iPod range. Looks better, brighter screen, longer battery life and here's the kicker - lower price! "Thank you, Mr Jobs. You're the best!!"

The only problem is whether I should spring for the super-sleek brushed metal nano (2 or 4 GB), the all-black sexy nano (only in 8GB) or go all out for the iPod video (now with a maximum of 80GB). What a conundrum!

If you haven't already seen the new Pods on the block, visit Apple and check them out for yourself. But prepare to drool.
