The Geeks Strike Back

Everytime I pop over to ThinkGeek, I always find something I want to buy. Not that I need it but... I just want it. Here's another thing I want. Its a working replica of a lightsaber from Star Wars. Not only does it feel like a real lightsaber in your hand, with its metal hilt, the beam ignites like the real mccoy - with up/down power on/off effects.

The lightsabers come in different models - Anakin's, Darth Vader's, Obi Wan's and Mace Windu's.

And in case you're thinking of springing for one for your nephew this coming Christmas, this is no toy. Apparently, it is a licensed collectors item. So, be prepared to pay a pretty penny it.

I feel force is strong in you. Set your mind free and click on "Add To Cart".

More on these super-duper-cool lightsabers here.

Key To The Future

Ever watch a sci-fi movie like Minority Report and wish you could manipulate images in thin air or type on a laser generated keyboard that appears on any flat surface? Well, you can do the latter. Seriously!

ThinkGeek (I love these guys... not in that way, though!) has the Bluetooth Laser Virtual Keyboard on sale. This pocket size device generates a laser image of a 63 key QUERTY keyboard onto any flat surface and when paired with your bluetooth enabled PDA or mobile phone will allow you to input data by typing on the corresponding "keys". To make this even cooler, it also simulates key click sounds.

If you love this device as much as I do, whip out that credit card and click on this link. US$179.99 buys you a little piece of the future today.
